Samsara is the cycle in which Hindus believe is the result of one's death. When one dies, he or she comes back into a new life. This life can be better or worse than one previous life depending on how good or bad their karma was. If they followed their Dharma, they will achieve good karma, and climb up in the ranks over the course of several lives. Once they reach the highest rank, they will achieve Moksha and become one with Brahman.
