Moksha is the liberation from the cycling of death and rebirth, and is known as the release from Samsara. This process was very popular during the time period of 600 BCE. Moksha is one of the steps in reaching enlightenment, which is called Brahman, and is one of the core Hindu concepts. Moksha is the middle step in the process, while the first step is Samsara and the other is Brahman. The other way to reach enlightenment is to reach your Atman (faster way), which is Individual soul or divinity within you. In the Hindu religion and many other religions, it is imperative to go through Moksha in order to reach the highest point in life. It is a tradition to follow the specific steps to accomplish the goals that are very important.
